Michigan is among the most expensive states for auto and home insurance. In fact, Michigan’s auto insurance premiums have increased by over 30% in the last 10 years, 35% more than the national average.
InsuranceLoco does not recommend that you simply look for the cheapest auto insurance policy. We prefer that you find your the best insurance policy online at your best price. In your search for the lowest price however, make sure your meet Michigan's coverage minimums of 20/40/10. Translation: This means that you have at least Bodily Injury Liability Coverage of $20,000 per person injured per accident and up to $40,000 for per accident. For Property Damage Liability Coverage, Michigan requires that you have at least $10,000 for damage of property of others per accident.
